Overview
Essentially a roller blind with fire resistant fabric, in the event of a fire, an electronic signal allows the curtain to unroll down side guides at a controlled rate until it meets the floor, creating a fire resistant barrier, even in a power outage. The curtains are gravity fail safe and individual curtains can be installed adjacent to one another to give a continuous bank of curtains.

Tested to BS 476: part 22 and achieved a 4½ hour rating.
Wire reinforced polymer coated glass cloth fabric.
Can withstand temperatures of 1000°C for 270 minutes.
24V operation.
3-hour battery backup.
Head boxes are made from 1.2mm galvanised steel – stainless is optional and is available with a powder-coated finish.
