The Renlita™ Series 3000 is a two-leafed commercial bifold door, hinged horizontally. The door rises overhead to stack in a folded position under the lintel.
Each Renlita™ door is tailored to suit your architectural preferences with a wide range of glazing and cladding material to choose from. In tailor-making each door, our Metalbilt engineers accurately counterweight every client’s steel frame door to ensure operating ease – even for the largest of openings.
Doors can also be electrically operated by a compact gearbox with a three phase or single-phase motor.

| STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS |
Frame: Fabricated from zinc coated mild steel box section and torsion bars to provide light but exceptionally strong truss construction. Braced for minimum deflection in the open and closed position.
Guides: Constructed from pressed steel and fixed to the jambs with cleats. The guides support the weight of the door leaves and counterweights.
Door leaves: Two horizontally folding leaves hinge at mid height rising upwards. When opened the door will rest at a slight incline to allow rainwater to run off. Peripheral seals can be included.
Cladding: The door frame accepts a wide range of glazing and cladding options.
Operation: Electric operation is by compact three phase 0.37kW electric motor, driving an enclosed worm gearbox. Speed of operation is approx. 200mm per second. Supplied complete with reversing starter and limit switches. Anti-fall brake in the event of a cable failure Manual doors latch into position when fully open to overcome any windage effects. This latch is automatically disengaged with pull down hook supplied.
Counterweights: These doors are accurately counterweighted to ensure ease of operation. The bottom 2.4m of counterweight travel is protected by a 1mm thick galvanised steel pressing.
Wind loading: Based on 0.5 kPa wind load. This may be altered to suit each situation.

- Frames and channels are finished with epoxy primed and polyurethane.
- Glazed door beading can be anodised, or a powder-coat finish.
- Other finishes are available, if required.
