Project Overview

To secure the loading dock area at the rear of a major supermarket, we supplied and installed heavy-duty sliding gates. This solution was designed to meet the operational needs of a high-traffic goods entrance while maintaining safety and noise control. 

Key Features & Benefits

Noise Reduction: Gates are clad with 25mm rough-sawn boards for acoustic performance, reducing noise from delivery trucks and forklifts.

Custom Design: A smaller 8m-wide gate serves as an exit-only point, while the larger 13m-wide gate accommodates B-trains turning into the loading dock.

Durable Construction: The 13m gate was manufactured in two halves and bolted together to allow galvanising without exposed welds, ensuring longevity and corrosion resistance.

Automated Operation: Both gates are powered by DG800 three-phase industrial gate operators for smooth, reliable performance.

Enhanced Safety: Each gate is equipped with PE beams and vehicle inductance loops to provide advanced safety measures for vehicles and personnel
