As part of the national Weigh Right programme, ARA Group was engaged through Dor-Gate Access Systems to deliver a secure, high-performance gate solution for the northbound weigh station on State Highway 1, Rakaia.

Working alongside Higgins Contractors and WSP, our team designed, fabricated, and installed two fully motorised, industrial-grade gate systems tailored to the operational and safety requirements of the site.

𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:

𝟱𝗺 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺:
• 2.45m high RHS frame with 20nb pipe verticals
• Three rows of barbed wire for enhanced perimeter security
• Fully galvanised finish for corrosion resistance
• Bolt-down gate tracks
• DG800 high-speed industrial gate operator with PE safety beams

𝟮𝟬.𝟱𝗺 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺:

• Three rows of barbed wire
• Fully galvanised and bolt-down track installation
• Dual DG800 gate operators with curtain safety beams for wide-span coverage
